Philippines November 30, 2022 – Yet another piece of awesome news from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, there is one sole winner of the Super Lotto 6/49 draw. He will remain completely anonymous due to reasons we are all aware of — safety and security — and he hails from Bulacan.

PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles delightfully handed over the check worth over PHP 188.4 million to the winner of the Oct. 23, 2022, Super Lotto 6/49 draw. The lucky lotto enthusiast revealed that he has been playing the PCSO Lotto games and persistently trying his luck for over 20 years. Indeed, his efforts paid off in a dramatically joyous way.

It’s a stunningly Merry Christmas for the 47-year-old tricycle driver who is from Guiguinto, Bulacan. He took his time in claiming the prize and was absolutely surprised by the sudden windfall. The winning number combination: 09-03-19-13-20-29.

“Matagal ko nang inaalagaan ang mga numerong ito. Madalas, tumataya ako kapag alam kong malaki na ang jackpot prize. Kaya sa pagkakataong ito, labis po ang tuwa kasi mababago na ang buhay namin (I have been taking care of these numbers for a long time. Most of the time, I bet when I know the jackpot prize is big. So this time, I’m very happy because our lives will change),” he said.

Winners of major prizes do have one year from the date of the draw to claim the prize. The PCSO office also chimed in as a reminder that the jackpot prizes must be claimed at the PCSO Main Office, Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City. They also reminded winners that they must write their names and sign at the back of the winning ticket, and present two government-issued IDs.

The winnings are subject to a 20 percent tax as stated in the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law.

November’s Jackpot trend

The month of November has seen three sole bettors who were able to have the jackpot prize of the PCSO lotto. The recent November 5 draw saw two bettors winning the Grand Lotto 6/55. One bettor from Triangulo, Naga City bagged the jackpot of Grand Lotto 6/55 with a total prize of PHP29.7 million. The other winner was from Pitogo, Quezon who matched the winning number combination for the Lotto 6/42 jackpot prize of PHP15,395,114.80.

November 4 saw a sole winner as well with the ticket sold in Taytay, Rizal province for the Mega Lotto 6/45, bagging in the PHP21-million jackpot prize. 

Ain’t life grand when someone wins big at any of the PCSO Lotto games? Just proves that the game is fairly played and the results are completely random.
