As of November 28, 2022 – The busy Thanksgiving weekend has led us back here to where we can gain some ground — and some sense into the game we love to wager on. The winning Against The Spread (ATS) percentage is still steady and ready through the first month of the 2022-23 NBA regular season.
Here’s a closer look into what’s up ahead, what can get our juices going & a fearless forecast of the results based on a historical vantage point of how the teams performed.
1. Hawks -1 (-110)
There will be two teams facing off tonight in Philadelphia — each with identical records. As the +1 shows, this will be a head-to-head match that will set the floor on fire. For the 76ers, we have Joel Embid still grappling with his latest injury (foot) which can be both a boon or a bane for the matchup this evening versus Atlanta.
The best bet on defenders for the 76ers is also a bit of a gamble — so to speak — the risky predicament of having Matisse Thybulle and PJ Tucker still at a steep slope as they are dealing with ankle injuries.
The latest streak of three losses in their four games has the Hawks cringing some ways into the season. As they hit the road, the 98-106 loss last night still haunts them with the Heat on the home court. There’s still a good way for the Hawks with the team in tip-top shape and in strong physical condition for all members — definitely a great advantage for the upcoming games. Hopefully, Trae Young will be on par with the fans’ expectations.

2. Timberwolves pick’em (-110)
The Wizards have always shown that they have giants in their talent pool. They’ve shown a marked performance at the start of the season. The main crux that can teeter the team off of the games would be the injuries they have been accumulating thus far. The perfect example of this is Rui Hachimura and Kyle Kuzma — they have missed time on the court — the three straight losses are hypothetically attributed to this as the root cause of the dire straits as of press time.
Both players will now be coming back and joining in the next game as the team sees the third game in four nights facing the Timberwolves as they come in to play at their home court. Though the Timberwolves also have the same scenario — the third game as well within four nights — Minnesota is healthier overall and has not incurred too many significant injuries that can lay them vulnerable on the court. It’s best to keep eagle eyes on how Kuzma or Hachimura will fare on their injuries. This can be a game-changer. Currently, the Timberwolves are shooting at 48% from the field as they head into the coming match.

3. Lakers -3 (-105)
Finally, we’re seeing the Lakers get into better days. They have won five of their last six matches and are continuously gaining more ground — making up for the slow and sluggish start to the season. They scored a season-high of 143 points on Saturday with the strong performance of the Lakers’ offense in full swing. Lebron James is hammering through with vivid vigour with also an all-season high of 39 points.
The Pacers, on the other hand, are also showing they can go berserk toward the end of a match to grab the win. On Friday’s game, they were able to score a 40-point fourth quarter — resulting in a much-needed win after running into two straight losses in their past three games. The odds look to be on the side of the Lakers if they’re able to maintain their momentum throughout the season.
And, there you have it! Casinohub’s bet on the Lakers as well. They have improved by leaps and bounds this season so far. Just comment down below on who you’re predicting as the winner in the games. Hope to see your feedback soon! Cheers!
